Who I am?
Welcome — I’m Dr. Makhdoom, and I’m honored to share my journey with you.
From starting dental school in 2007 in Pakistan to pursuing my passion across borders, I’ve followed a challenging yet deeply rewarding path toward becoming a dentist in the United States. After earning my MPH from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and completing a periodontal externship at the University of Kentucky in 2021, I am now on the final stretch as a DDS candidate at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, Class of 2025.
I understand how complex and overwhelming the journey to U.S. licensure can be — and that’s exactly why I created this platform. Through my YouTube channel and social media, I am dedicated to guiding and empowering future dentists with valuable insights, advice, and real-world experiences.
